NEUROMAX 1.5%

Product Information

NEUROMAX 1,5%
Neurolitic Injectable
Benefits: NEUROMAX 1,5% is a neurolitic of parenteral application exclusively; to be given subcutaneously, intramuscularly, and intra-articularly to rapidly inhibit the nervous transmission temporarily in the amielinic fibers type-C thanks to the Ammonium Ion acting through Ionic competence. Its capacity to block the transmission is proportionally inverse to the width of the nerve fiber, thus, the dosage varies according to the diameter of the nerve to be treated.
Posology: Dosage depends on the area to be treated. Perineural application. Digital nerves 2 to 4 ml. Palmar nerves 3 to 5 ml. Superficial peroneal nerve 3 ml. Deep peroneal nerve 5 to 7 ml. Tibial nerve 5 to 7 ml. Dorsal Metacarpal/metatarsal periostitis and/or Intermetacarpal/intermetatarsal osteitis: 5 ml or more, according to Vet prescription. Intra-articular applications: 3 to 6 ml according to size of joint. Intramuscular infiltrations: 5 ml x point of application, with a total 50 ml dose per croup, blade, or back. Antiinflammatory and local anesthetic drugs may be applied, according to Vet prescription. Repeat dosage as many times as necessary once the effects of the previous dose have disappeared, since –as different from the phenol-based neurolitics–the ammonium chloride solutions do not cause fibrosis in the point of application.
Indications: Reversible block of nerve fibers. Neuralgia, myalgia. Myositis, muscular contracture. Articular degenerative disease. Bursitis. Synovitis. Periostitis.
Presentation: Ampoule bottle x 50 ml.
Formula: Ammonium chloride. Excipient
