HIALURONATO DE SODIO

HIALURONATO DE SODIO

Product Information

Articular reparator- Chondroprotector

Benefits

At the beginning of osteoarthritis of the joints patients are characterized by the loss of proteoglycan molecules in articular cartilage. These biochemical changes of cartilage in joints affected by osteoarthritis are not only given by the decrease of proteoglycan, but also hyaluronic acid. Sodium hyaluronate (hyaluronic acid, sodium salt) is a natural polymer belonging to the class of glycosaminoglycans (acid mucopolysaccharides). It is, therefore, a vital component of synovial fluid that is characterized by viscoelasticity, hygroscopicity and lubricating properties, qualities that protect the joints from pressure and friction which are subject to joint surfaces, which are generated by movement. The quality and characteristics of synovial fluid is directly related to the animal’s joints health. The therapeutic outcome with this product is directly related to the molecular weight of the same being it for Chinfield sodium hyaluronate an MW of 1,800,000 Daltons.
