• All the components in 'TRAINERS SPECIAL' GEL are incorporated in a low molecular weight natural HIGH CALORIFIC value'ENERGY OIL', essential for the efficient absorption of the Vitamin E, but itself a readily available source of energy for that PRE-RACE BOOST.
• Efficient FOOD CONVERSION is essential for the efficient digestion, absorption and utilisation of nutrients. 'TRAINERS SPECIAL'GEL has its own unique F-C-R formulation to ensure the full benefit of all the components is realised by the Horse.
• The inclusion of both RNA and DNA sub-units provides an enhanced supply of these essential and fundamental biological building blocks to assist the animal's own repair mechanisms.
• 'TRAINERS SPECIAL'GEL contains high levels of the natural form of Vitamin E, normally referred to as d-άtocopherol. This natural form of Vitamin E is twice as available and more readily absorbed and utilised than the synthetic counterpart (dl-άtocopherol). However, by including the correct ratio of both varieties it is possible to achieve a level of 'loading'.
• The high levels of Vitamin E in this preparation, in association with a number essential 'Cations' helps to minimise any incidences of 'TYING UP'.
• CPK-3 muscle isoenzymes (also called CPK-Mms'), are rapidly reduced and AST levels that can indicate both muscle and liver damage assisted.
• One of these additional Vitamin E molecules present in the natural form i.e. γtocopherol has been scientifically proven to both inhibit COX 2 inflammatory activity that occurs with muscle damage or severe strain and to aid the quenching of (RNOS)-'Reactive Nitrogen Oxide Species', dangerous free radicals that d-άtocopherol cannot quench, hence providing broader spectrum of antioxidant protection.
• γtocopherol additionally has the ability to increase the metabolism of d-άtocopherol, thus increasing the latter's protective effect.
• Vitamin C, in the form of Ester C® ensures the efficient maintenance of Iron absorption under hard training and racing conditions, whilst providing additional Immune support.
• Zinc and Copper are included in the correct ratio along with other minerals, all in their chelated forms.
