Description

Dexamethasone is a synthetic gluco-corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic and immuno-suppressive action.

Indications

Allergic reactions, Hepatitis, Myoglobinuria, Toxinaemia, shock, stress and Urticaria. Local treatment of Arthritis, Bursitis, Distortions, Peri-Arthritis, Tendinitis and Tendovaginitis.

Contra-indications

Diabetes Mellitus, Osteoporosis, heart and kidney dysfunctions. Do not inject during the last (third) part of gestation.

Dosage and administration

By intramuscular or intravenous injection:

Horses, cattle	:	5 - 15 ml. per animal.
Calves, foals, sheep, goats	:	1 - 2.5 ml. per animal.
Cats, dogs	:	0.1 - 1 ml. per 10 kg. body weight.

Withdrawal period

Meat	:	3 days
Milk	:	1 day

Storage

Store in a dry, dark place between 8°C and 15°C.

Packing

100 ml. multidose vial (48 vials per box).
